The French version of As Dog Is My Witness<\/em> (or as we now call it, Un T\u00e9moin Qui A Du Chien<\/a><\/em>) is now on bookstore shelves in, you know, France! I\u2019ve received my copies, and I\u2019m taking them at their word that it\u2019s the same book. A brilliant (I\u2019m sure) translation by Claire Beton, and a very neat cover!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cThe Gun Also Rises,\u201d the Aaron Tucker short story that ran in Alfred Hitchcock\u2019s Mystery Magazine, won the Barry Award<\/strong> for best short story (given by the fine folks at Deadly Pleasures Magazine<\/a>) at Bouchercon at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
